![]() Now back to the coordinator, Tracy Beachum. Not the venues' fault, but something to note. There are only TWO negatives about this venue, none of which is on the venue: TRANSPORTATION and ACCOMMODATIONS. Although I'm not sure this will always be an option, but because we rented linens from Whim Event Rentals in Dripping Springs, the pick up and return of the linens was done by Tracy, the day-of coordinator/event coordinator, so that was super helpful as we live a good 40-60 minutes away. The venue offers a catering kitchen, which my caterer was thrilled about. Be prepared for EVERYONE to get the vodka drinks though, they are delicious! The hidden conference room is PERFECT for a buffet dinner. If you want to serve anything other than their vodkas, you'll need to hire your own bartenders, but bonus, you can provide your own beer/wine/liquor, and Spec's takes returns as long as the labels are not water damaged. They provide great round tables and chairs (and very cool additional side tables), though they are not in the current (Nov 2015) pictures on the internet, they are great, but look very different. They have great audio for music, but you'll need to rent a microphone and speakers (go to Rock N Roll Rentals, under $40 for both). Also, they really want folks out around 10 - 10:30, so take note of that. You'll need to schedule your wedding for approximately 6:30, as the venue closes to the public at 5:00. There are a few things to know about this venue and planning a wedding. ![]() During this time, our guests were treated to a cocktail hour and hors d'oeuvres (catered by the delicious and wonderful Pink Avocado Catering) in the distillery due to poor weather outside, which ended up being more fun for our guests in the long run! The staff was helpful and warm throughout the entire process, headed by the wonderful Tracy Beachum, the sleeper-hit of the venue, but more on her later. They even added in a few of their own touches, which felt like something we would have chosen! After the ceremony, while the cocktail hour took place in the distillery (very cool), the staff flipped the room and set up the tables (also provided), same chairs, rented linens and delivered flowers, and additional decor in a beautiful and timely fashion. The Deep Eddy staff set up the ceremony and remaining decor we provided (they provided chairs), and it was perfect. As my parents and I struggled to hang some decor, the staff lept in and helped, with a smile! We decided to have our ceremony and reception in the same main room.
